Tried to sort timing on the 109. It's a 2.25 diesel and wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. Rain stopped play so will try again tomorrow.

Have painted inside and outside of roof on the 109, ready to go back on next week. Looks good as new. Been fun drivin it without a lid on too. :-)

Fitted homemade dog guard to the 109......it's amazing what a bit off fettling and some black spray paint can do to a door off a supermarket stock cage :-)

Driving a 1965 2a about 18 years ago........"this steerings stiff...and these brakes are never right".......still saying it now in my restored series 3, 109. Kev

Fitted new oil seal and bearing on axle. Finally fitted seal on doortop too :) Kev

45, Have 2 green ovals, 1995 disco 300tdi:) and a 1978 109 hardtop. (currently undergoing a rebuild):D

Identcal to the probs I had. Had everything checked, hoses, turbo, intercooler, lift pump.:confused: Turned out it was a knackerd injector pump:eek::eek: mega bucks. Havin a recon engine fitted now. Mine had done 198000miles.

Hi all I am now the owener of a seris 3 lwb 109 diesel 3 door station wagon.:D I intend to do a stripdown and full rebuild. Has anyone ever changed a body from a 3 door to a 5 door?, if so what problems should I expect to come across? Cheers Kev

Hi I have a 1995 300tdi. While driving last night the instrument light cluster went out but headlights stayed on:( . Carried on home then found on arrival that rear lights had gone out too along with light buzzer when door is open. Checked fuses and found blown fuse, replaced and checked. All...

Totally agree, watching some chav in lowered nova revving away at the lights then wheel spinning off......maybe one day they'll see the light and buy a landy? Getting around 29 - 30mph from my 300tdi:)

Hi welcome. I bought my first landrover 5 weeks ago now. A 1995 300TDI. Chuffed to bits with it.:D Its taken me to The Heritage Landrover Show today at Gaydon motor museum no problem on the motorway. What can I say about the show?..Brilliant!!! Hope you find one soon.

Hi All Had my first landrover (1995 Disco 300TDI) for 4 weeks now.:D an lovin it. Found a few niggles, water leak into rear(now fixed) , rear floor few rust holes(prject for the summer) Driving round with a big smile still.
