    D1 300Tdi engine problem.

    My 300 Tdi suddenly lost power, ran for a while with a lot of smoke, then would not start. Timing belt was out of time, and had oil on it, had belt replaced, new crankshaft seal, and belt timed, rockers and pushrods all OK, what do I look for next? Any ideas most welcome!

    Have you checked the sedimentor bowl, that full of water gives you white smoke! Ditto fuel filter.
