i get about 30 miles to the gallon, depends how you drive, if you race a td5 around it'll race through fuel. like most engines. I find that on the motorway my disco gets around 32, so long as i dont go above 65 mph. beyond that and the fuel economy slides right down... bit boring but it does...

I just realised my disco had a similar problem, check all the seals and connections on the turbo, you could just be losing pressure, mine runs and pulls away much better now

Hello all, I was putting some large items into my discovery 2 earlier, and it occurred to me, would it be possible to put a split tail gate from a range rover onto a disco? That way i could fit longer items into it and hang them over the tailgate. Is this possible? Anybody ever seen it...
