Discovery with a range rover tailgate?

Hello all,

I was putting some large items into my discovery 2 earlier, and it occurred to me, would it be possible to put a split tail gate from a range rover onto a disco? That way i could fit longer items into it and hang them over the tailgate.

Is this possible? Anybody ever seen it done/looked into doing it?

I cant be the only one to think of this.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
