Ok done a bit more over the last couple of weeks. Painted the doors (only the outside though) and fitted. Need the hinges painted.

As already said - the lift pump is a mechanical pump (as opposed to later models electric pumps). i believe it works off a cam in the engine, (as AL203 said), as the engine is running, the cam is rotating and turning the pump. I changed mine while the engine was out as it was said on here ages...

Thanks Gatso. He's being fitted with a pump on wednesday - its only filled with a saline liquid for a few weeks or so and the injections will continue till he's happy, the hospital is happy and the pump is happy lol. Shed repair this week end so no new progress. Could do with getting it out so...

Ok folks update time - just fitted the SPL door bottoms and aligned the bulkhead up. Now obviousley need coming back off to paint ready for the Rocky Mountain tops.
