    what cooling setup did you go for in the end? being having a look at some of the options inc allisport. are you going for a rad with oil cooler? have you figured out what hoses you will need yet? another set of options a mile long!

    Yeah seen the paddocks ones which say adweest but wondered if going direct would be cheaper. Anyone gone direct to adweest recently? FYI I've already phoned them but the guy is on perma voicemail.

    Replaced the door seals at the same time? I've got sp doors on mine and only trouble was with door lock alignment.

    That's what I think I need. Then put the upswept tubular cross member in front. The upswept tubular cross member is to provide the space either side for the exhaust

    ive got one but it appears to foul the chassis bracket? which is why i was looking at the same solution as these guys. i then bought one of these which i got cheap, but obviously you still need the seperate mounting brackets then.

    Glad im not the only one! I found those same parts (the bracket is more offset on the v8 eh?) and am on the verge of purchasing. not cheap either! The other thing im questioning is what crossmember hes using. I bought the same one as on page 9 of this thread but it doesnt fit with the chassis...

    Nice build! I'm doing a galv v8 r380 build as well. My engine is in but the box still on the floor :) 2 questions for you. 1. Are you missing the tubular gearbox cross member? 2. What are the part numbers for the v8 r380 gearbox mounts on the piccy?

    Anyone fitted an Ashcroft ATB in transfer or axle?

    I've got all three atbs in mine. Not turned a wheel yet but can vouch for the quality and it will certainly get rid of some drivelone slack. I've done a bunch of miles with rear only and it's proven to be great off road.

    Kinda.... That switch makes it so a given load will either be supplied by batt1 or batt2 or both or off altogether. So you could connect all your loads to that switch instead of the battery terminals which would then allow the switch to control where the power comes from. Not a great solution...

    this is mine. i used my original 200 tdi pickup at the rear and bought a RRC in tank fuel pump off ebay. You then have to extend the metal strip a bit so it goes to the bottom of the tank. I then bought a petrol return (all metal and short) which goes in that little hole on the right. the...

    my 90 tank has 3 holes. the sender goes in rear one (doesnt have a return at all), the pump goes in the forward one (which was the pickup) and the return goes into a small hole near the pump.
