found the culprit. this rubber line seems like a **** idea to me. im thinkin of cutting the steel lines, flaring the ends and substituting the rubber for 1/2 inch brake line.

it does help. its too late to check now but thats alot easier than looking for the filter, cracking open one side of it, and then cranking the engine and see if fuel comes out. all the fuses are fine but i didnt check the relays. is there a relay for the pump on these vehicles?

thanks man that should save me alittle time. it seems the amp under the seat powers the front and rear speakers but not the box. i already ran new fronts but it should save me a headache by running new wire just to the amp instead of directly to the rear speakers.

truck is just a general term is use for something that has enough space in it to haul things that a car cant. i found a shortcut to the rear speakers but still havent had the time to figure out the subs yet. ill poke around more.
