So I've read all the posts with interest.
So the question is, who's replaced a P38 with a L322 and
thought crap wish I ain't done that! Or thought **** now I gotta sell a kidney after their first visit to the garage with it.
Hi all
I've not been on here in ages due to work commitments, which have meant the p38 not been used as much so hasn't had chance to breakdown.
I'm considering buying a later model rangie probaly no later than 2005.
The question is are they the money pit that the p38 is. What's to look out...
Ill speak to turners! If anyone knows of company's who have a good rep
for recon top hat long engines let me know please. As per usual top draw advice from the locals! Thanks
Hi all not been on for a while! hope all the locals are well.I'm looking to put a new engine in my 4ltr p38, but thought
about putting 4.6 instead, will the original gearbox be ok or would it
have to be replaced because of the bigger engine size.
Evening.. Just been out in the p38 and I've got
a sloshing sound coming from passenger side.
took off pollen filter cover and found the filter is wet
Half way down to the bottom of it. Is there any way rain
water can get in there other than through top cover?
how do I get the water out...
If its gone into limp mode, don't you have to reset
faults aswell as change the leaking bag. as without
faults being reset it won't inflate them again?
When the head gasket went on mine.
The top hose blew up like a balloon.
Had no sign sign of oil in the water either in the
expansion tank or on the dipstick. and it towed my van
back 70miles without overheating.
Won't have thought you need to change the
bolt just the nuts. I took mine off and put it back using
The same nuts. It's still there and the nuts are still tight.
