    Thanks Brown, It was the fact that they are no longer making the ECU that is prompting me, plus I put disco final drive ratio in the tranfer box when I did the clutch a few years back so bit more go will be welcome when loaded.

    Probably should have specified that its a TD5. Ball ache with a chain wrench, just enough room under the filter to get the old one out and the new one in.

    Brake bleeding td5

    Did a complete overhaul on my ABS TD5. Rebuilt calipers, SS pistons and all flexies replaced etc. Used easy bleed, did take a while, and a few litres of fluid. Didn't need to play with the ABS unit at all. Good luck...

    Evening all, Looks like it's time to replace my injector harness again. I put an OEM one on last time, must be 10 odd yers ago. OEM £90 after market about £30 Anyone got experience of the cheaper option? Thanks, Mike.

    These actually fell apart durung use. Used the bits to measure up and machine some made of metal.

    Was deffo the copper injector seals on mine. Loads of white smoke at idle but didn't seem so bad at 'speed' Otherwise ran normally. Good luck, keep us posted...
