Yeah not a bad plan. Either way I've got enough for the specialist to do both and they've got low labour per hour (around £40) so its not as bad as it could be! So fixing everything should be a decent amount less than getting a new clutch!

Bonus! (I think!) I took the landy to the specialist in Biggin Hill to have it checked out and see what they said and I was told that it definitely isn't the clutch. The guy I saw jumped straight in and immediately took it for a drive and came back saying he didn't think there was enough...

With the brakes they were working the day before the landy went to the garage and came out really bad, so I don't think it could be rust from lack of use. Any other ideas? I will give them a clean out too.

No leaks coming from the master or slave. Only had these replaced a month ago. Not sure if this will help at all, but the clutch feels completely normal, nothing like there isn't enough pressure in the system and the pedal sags - its still got a very nice biting point and there is not clutch...

Hi all, Just got back from a 30 mile trip in my S3 2.25p and pulling into my drive whilst slowing down I put the clutch down to drop a gear, however with my foot fully planted on the floor the landy started moving forwards as if the clutch was up (but didn't stall when I stopped under braking)...

I think it must have been to be honest. The axle was definitely not in the right place and wasn't moving forwards. Cheers for the input all :)

I can't get the prop shaft bolts undone. The nuts are about to round off if I try anymore. Anyone got any suggestions on how to get the rusty nuts off?
