My series 2 fits height wise into my garage like a glove. I want to fit a roof rack/bed, but am worried that i wont be able to fit it in my garage. Can anyone out there please tell me the height of their series 2 with a roof rack on please? THANKS!

I am planning on buying a land rover series 2 (not 2a) and am wondering if you guys out there could give me abit of a lecture perhaps and points for a checklist of things i need to check / look out for. Im planning to look at a 1959 model if that helps.

Would i be able to jack my series 2 up onto 4 axle stands in order to test the 4wd system and see it working as well as have a good look and play underneath? Thanks
