Found this underneath the landrover! Should i be worried?

Found this underneath the lannie (mid-section not sure exactly) which is on my drive (so not just some random car off the street). Has something dropped out? Or is it just some random thing?

    Steel Wheel Overhaul

Took me a while but I finally got the time and the weather window to sort out my rusty wheels. It was a session with the dremel and drill sander, rust treatment and primers etc. But I got there in the end.

    Galv. Rear Crossmember Installed!

I've no idea why there would be any 'encouragement' of rot by having galv. As long as the welding and prep work is good, the rot will be eliminated and it's good as gold. :)

    Galv. Rear Crossmember Installed!

That's what I said, but according to mechanical man it is a better job if it's done this way, then the etch primer, then a normal primer then the base coats. Hmmmm.

    Galv. Rear Crossmember Installed!

I was being a bit quirky. Not sure if they are cast or forged, probably the former I expect.

    Galv. Rear Crossmember Installed!

Well folks, I made the jump and joined the ranks of the galvanized with my new, freshly forged/cast rear crossmember! :) Took the mechy a while, but I think he did a good job of it. Some issues: The galv. process saw that there were no threads for the towing array to be mounted onto (the part...

Disco 1 Turbo sounds like a police siren and it won't go away please help!!

Yeah and I'm sure you can tell the difference on if it was fitted at the instant of manufacture and a few months / years down the line. Get real with the scaremongering. You'll be stirring it over if someones signal lights don't flash the necessary 90 - 120 times a minute next. LOL

    age of LPG tanks

Visual inspection would be more than doable which is what scuba tanks generally have happen. A bunch of fairy lights on the string dangled down the neck of an emptied scuba tank. Visual inspection begins... :)

    age of LPG tanks

It's not rocket science either. Anyone who has half a brain knows the score. I used to work in the scuba industry and the tanks were constantly abused and dunked in salt-water. They would still see 10 years at a time, and that was with minimal TLC. Servicing them wasn't difficult either. Nanny...
