Folks, I just got a letter from Frank Pickles saying they are no longer doing 4x4 insurance. Any suggestions on who I should switch to that will do Offroad cover on a landy with lots of mods?

So the Disco came back from it's Service and MOT and I got a note stating that some of the bushes on the rear arms are starting to split, so I figure I should plan on replacing them Typilcally how long would this take me if I got a complete set of bushes and did all the corners?

Did Hi-Lift change the design of the jack recently? The reason for asking is that I have just got a rear wheel carrier from WizardBilt, and my jack won't fit on it.... So I'm wondering if it is my jack or the holder. My jack is getting a bit old, and the spacing between the bottom of the holes...

My battery is now approaching 8 years old and has started to go flat on a regular basis - ever since installing my roof lights. After a couple of days of no running, without ever using the light, the battery will be flat. Is it time to replace it? It's been in the Disco since new.

I just got and fitted the bar from Douglass Motors - still got to get the lights, but that will be in a few weeks. Very impressed with the fitting and build quality - I have to say it's well worth the money.

Having seen a few too many posts on stolen landys and seeing as I'll be going on holiday soon - leaving the Landy on the driveway - what is the best way to intentionally disable the engine? I figure on leaving the transfer box in neutral and to make my own life easy, remove key fuses - but...
