Hi, I have a P38, 1997 2.5 Lt. THe SRS light is on - no apparent reason. Connection somewhere ? Has anyone any ideas where the fault might be ? (It comes back on - immediately after clearing with diagnostics):mad::rolleyes:

All new & old Frelanders have that problem - especially petrol. Just find a local guy to replace head gasket.

Battery could be faulty- & will not hold chage. Buy a Bosch battery.

Hi, I have a 97, 2.5 lt DT. The heating coil symbol in dash does not come on when warm & I run the battery dead trying to start. She starts great from cold.:( Has anyone any ideas ?

Have exact same model- & had same problem:- mai dealer reset idel speed. Apparently this happens with age. There are two additional settings in the engin management system. ie. as system gets older, you have two chances to reset the idel spped. I'm on my first reset. suggest you do the same -...
