    spot on with what u said about checking the timing again ORMONDSTREET it was the injector pump timing it was slightly out, but that made a big difference to what the engine was running like, no more smoke bellowing out, VERY HAPPY. :clap2:

    i am thinking that myself now as i took the head off checked all the valves and pistons and there is no damage to them, im thinking maybe the injector pump timing could be out .

    Hello i have a disco 200tdi, last weak the timing belt snaped, so i put a new one on, changed the bent push rods i had. Its starts up great a lot quieter than before, problem is now when left, say over night and i start it up its fine but when reved up it smokes like mad until i drive about 200...

    :):) changed the steering box. also changed front shocks which were had it and leaking. all seems ok now not pulling to the left problem solved

    Yep i had the same problem with mine, but all i did was grab that wheel yank it,pull it twist it and shake it, i was knackerd but it did come off

    [b]when driving if i let go of the steering wheel my disco keeps pulling to the left, i have to keep a good grip to stop it pulling off the road, i have also noticed that my front right tyre is wearing in the inner edge, i took it in to get the tracking checked and they said there is nothing...
