My 2002 P38 insured with Admiral from January to January, I pay about #360, I have just sold the P38 and have a L322 Vogue 2003 coming in June, they want a extra #180 for the remaining 7 months, seems a lot, I am 87, 3 other cars, no claims over 25 years.

Update, garage have been starting g her a few times every day and always fine, today it would not start and they suspect fuel pump as they could not hear it primitive g at start up

update, my son also has a P38 he popped over cleaned relays etc and pushed wheel sensors in, I wanted to take the car to my garage with error codes showing, drove all round yesterday no joy, today did another run, bumpy, fast slow, no errors, my son used his electronic multimeter on each sensor...

morning Datatek, thanks for that, makes sense, I plan to go to my garage again and get them to check the ABS ecu again, will post the result, wish you were near chichester.

update, cleaned all fuses and relays, error codes still present found a long deserted road and did a emergency stop, could hear and feel ABS and TC, car stopped dead and straight. does this mean I have no fault with those units and no fault shows on the becm but the lights are on showing error...

thank you Datek, the ecbm went haywire locked the car and unable to start even with code, at thet time the error codes on abs and tc had been showing, the unit was repaired and re-fitted. the car was then fine but after a week the 2 codes showed again and are now on almost all the time though...

many thanks, we are both quite old, my wife has a pelvic injury as well as heart failure,and a replacement knee, she is not very strong our old classic had a strong handle over the glove box but with the air cushions unable to fit,

my wife has an injury which has made getting in to the passenger seat impossible I do not want to have to sell the car, last of the p38's, I have tried a step from the caravan shop but no good, my car has the rubber side steps, anyone have the same problem? and how did you overcome it. regards...
