Hi all... Was on this forum a few years ago when l had a 200 TDI Discovery and a 300 Discovery. Not had a Landrover for a few years but bagged a 96 300TDI Disco this morning. Looking forward to doing a few bits to it and getting out and getting muddy with family :)

Hello... Can anyone tell me if the Discovery 300 tdi came with an immobilisor as a standard part of the vehicle security? My 94 model has remote locking via the key fob, once pressed the indicators flash and alarm is armed but I don't know if it is immobilsed also?

I've found what I think may be a good Landy specialist in South Wales but before I dive in head first... does anybody know of any cheap, reliable people that will carry out work on a Disco 300 series? Also, someone that does cheap welding. Money is very tight... I don't mind travelling a bit but...
