I've traces it through and it looks most likely a stalk unit issue. On closer inspection the thing looks fried. I've been wondering what that burning smell was the last couple of weeks. I have quick fix in place, but I'll probably by a used unit sometime soon. Cheers. Dan.

Ah, OK I probably don't want to remove the heater matrix but just flush it out. And there seems to be plenty of water in the system. She stays at a constant temperature, just below the middle of the gauge which I've been told is too cool and most probably my Thermostat. Cheers for the advice. Dan.
