    It's Alive

It's a 1996 model, very quiet, comfortable and extremely reliable, but absolutely no character, every ####er and his uncle has got one here, barely any landies so the ones that are here stand out, can't wait to finally sort out the paperwork and start driving mine again.

UK to OZ - Summer 2012 anyone?

All depends on what route you take, I did Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, SE Asia before shipping to Brisbane and then driving across Australia before rocking up in WA, can help with details with what I did if it helps, either way definately worth doing. Lee

    Where do these go? (pics)

sorry on the leccie connection, can't help, when it was on the disco there is an inlet out to the inner wing, just a thought was there an immobiliser on the original engine, maybe thats your second feed to the pump, just do what James says.

    Where do these go? (pics)

the bigger diameter outlet is in fact the inlet, leave it like that but don't go too deep in water.

    Half shafts broken???????

both of mine went, the first was whilst driving in Phuket on the 23 Dec last year and the other about 10 days later, couldn't order new parts so simply welded the shafts to the flanges, can't go wrong again.

    Vibration when propshaft fitted

heard the other day that if you put a jubilee clip on the prop just loose tight enough, when you drive the motor it will spin to where it's needed to balance the shaft, not sure if it's bollox but could cure your problem.

    Tyre experience wanted

Had 285/75x16 on mine and definately needed a lift, cracking tyres although did change the gearing so be aware that they can affect towing.
