Took about a inch of play out of the Throttle cable on my 300tdi 90 and was amazed at the difference in acceleration and top end!!!

I took my 90 for its MOT today and it passed with 1 advisory...... brake pedal rubber worn thin in one corner so a tiny bit of metal showing!, ebay for a new one £1.50 unless anybody knows cheeper!!!!!!!

fitted the twin line brakes of a 1990 range rover to my 1986 90 the single line calipers were dead!! and there was a handy range rover about full of bits!

so as i know its from a disco the guy who did the convertion got the engine from Cradocks

it was rather cheep compared to smiths ones and VDO ones ie £15 so I will test it on another 300tdi and cut my losses and save for a better on I also got a boost gauge from them which is spot on!! Interesting thourght about the pully though will check but more or less sure it's correct! Chris...

hi, i am after help/infomation following from this old post i recently purchased a rev counter from the above ebay shop for my 1980 90 fitted with 300tdi engine, with the rev counter set to 4 cylinder and wired correctly to the "w" terminal on the alternator the revs are wrong... ie it shows...

Found it... All Wheel Trim Ltd. Land Rover frames these people sell all kinds of roll bars and soft top bits, i dont know if they are expensive or any good but i know i had seen it somewhere

this may not be much help but when i soft-topped my 90, i also fitted 3 point harness which i bolted through the floor to ther chassie since then i have brought a MOD Roll Bar which has thredded seat belt bracket thingsat about the same place they were when i had the hard top on so if might be...

I did this to my 1986 90 in october... got the compleate tilt (canvas) and roof hoop set off flebay for £350 the seller turned out to be a very genuine chap who delivered the kit to derby from southhampton for £50 in his epson green p38... me and two mates had it all fitted in the afternoon...

there is a couple of 300tdi discos a td5 disco and a 07 plate defender that use the car park and i know them! i have requested the CCTV footage and reported it to the police! and am going to rant at building manages on monday they wernt even in particullaly good condition sad gits

yer it was great fun... the paint was £37 for a 5ltr tin from anchour supplys( A local army surplass place) in Ripley, Derbyshire. Then we put a coat on saturday morning and another on sunday morning. jobs a guddon

i brush painted mine nato green last weekend went on a treat! got shed loads of paint left didnt use 1/3 of the tin (5ltr) and that was with 2 coats!.... perhaps i should update my avatarr
