Hi mate, bustersbus may know a good garage.Pm him. 252 the landy parts shop in Dumfries should know the good ones. I can't comment as I get mine done by daughters boyfriend.(Freelander). Should be good ones nearby due to the amount of landies in the area.

It was the pump at the rear. Lot of them going wrong apparently.

Won't get the lowdown 'til tomorrow.

Diagnosed as needing a fuel pump,back with me in a couple of days.

Fuel cleaner and new fuel filter didn't work. Local stealership fully booked for a fortnight. Now going 30 miles away to go on a landrover diagnostic machine, I hate new engines:rolleyes:

Nothing showing on diagnostics,new or stored. No apparent splits in hoses. Trying fuel cleaner in tank at the mo',but still light coming on and running in 'limp' mode mostly.

Thanks again, Had probs with a scenic before that never showed any readings on the dooda reader.(misfire that was ok after coils and plugs changed,then put to auction when it continued after a few weeks).

Started last night. Td4 manual 55 plate se. seems to be when accelerating and comes on c. 2-2.5k revs when stationary. Going for diagnostic tomorrow but any ideas? No oomph when it's on but ok when it goes off. Ta.

Refusing to pay the norm for a black armrest,I got a beige one off the bay for £19.99 and dyed it black. Dyed,dried and fitted within half an hour. I reckon that's a result. Still some available I think. They're the American made real leather rests.

Check ebay I've been thinking of ones that sell singly with the landy logo for front seats. £13.99 per seat and made in uk. Green,black or grey Probably quite good quality I'd hope.

The Samurai is well known for gettin' through what the establishment couldn't. I had one and it was excellent. Maybe it's Dad was a Landy though ? :D great wee machines,love 'em.
