you can buy a shorter shaft but its gearbox to bits job. whats it going into?

the disco box has a longer input shaft due to the bell housing being longer

you will proberly be lucky and it will only have done the push rods. the simplest way to check if it has bent values is take the rocker cover off then remove the rocker shaft and then check to see if all the values springs sit and the same height if they do you havnt bent any values

hello yes sounds just like the starting motor. had the same on my 200tdi not long ago

best place to get them from is steve parker conversions. and they fit prefectly..

oh! thats why it wont move then. only want to remove the gery bit in the middle

how does the top piece of a 90 dash come out without damaging it. i have taken the scerws out of the top of the dash including the air vent scerws and it still wont move advice please......:o

i will try that. yes it is very complicated but with a lot of reading wiriing diagrams i think it will run.

i would leave the salisbury axles in there if you are going to do any off roading because they are far better than range rover axles apart from the brakes. depends if you are only going to drive it the road all of the time

hello every one has any body under taken a td5 conversion into an early 90? i am in the middle of doing one and im sure that there is a piece of the car wiring loom missing ie the glow plug relay and adjacent wiring to the fuse box under the bonnet:confused: has anyone got a td5 i could look at...
