how does the top piece of a 90 dash come out without damaging it.
i have taken the scerws out of the top of the dash including the air vent scerws and it still wont move advice please......

you have to remove almost all the dash to get the top section off.

oh! thats why it wont move then. only want to remove the gery bit in the middle

If ye're on about just the top bit where yer ashtray fits, then ye need to undo the two ends. There is a screw either side and there's also two screws below and either side of the ashtray.

How do you get the lower dash out? The bit by your knees?

it's a pig with bits everywhere. basically remove everything else 1st. and you'll see how it comes out.

Where would you recommend putting speakers in the front of a 90 then?

Mount em high behind ya head one on each side of the car. or put em in the door skins.

There isn't any room to fit speakers in the bottom of a 90 dash anyway. the heater's in the way.
