I had the same decision to make last year, in the end I opted for the 3.5 v8 running carbs. The main reason was the simplicity, trying to wire up an ecu to run the fuel injection on me series 3 seemed like to much of a headache. Tweaking up a set of carbs proved a lot easier!

Sorted! put a brake bias valve on yesterday and the effect is awesome! I can simply turn down the pressure to the back via a valve in me seat box. The brakes are now truly amazing and i can reccomend the upgrade to everyone. The landy even outbrakes me 04 Laguna which has discs all round! Cheers. :D

I already have 11 inch drums on the front and the backs still out brake the front. I had a rumage around me garage today and found an old brake bias valve off a mini. Gonna put that in the circuit to the back brakes and use it to adjust the pressure. Will let ya know how I get on!!!

Hmm, the saga continues! My servo only has attachment for a single brake line. I have looked at Paddocks and DLS but cannot see any listing for any sort of shuttle valve. Does anyone have any part numbers???

Just put a servo on my Series 3 single circuit braking system. Well pleased that they are super sharp but they are so sharp the back wheels lock up causing the back end to step out. I have tried adjusting them off but they still lock up. What have I done wrong or does anyone have any pointers...

They are not MOT failures mate. You should have seen the state of mine at the last MOT. They were rotten has hell and even the floor had a hole in it but it sailed through the MOT. I guess its down to the MOT tester, but your best bet is to find a landy friendly garage.

Im in the process of putting sum big comfy seats in the Landy but they wont leave much room for my lanky legs. Is it possible to remove the centre bulkhead to allow the seats to go back further without compromising the strength of the truck? Has anyone else done this? What did you do? Cheers

Just found a range rover overdrive which is good and cheap, do these fit on to Series 3 gearboxes or are they different? Cheers

Hey dudes, im running a series 3 with a ford v6 engine. At high speeds the noise is terrible. I have been thinking of adding an overdrive to make cruising more relaxed. but i have heard putting range rover diffs in is just the same. Is this true and will it effect slow speed off road...

If your in the derbyshire area there is a brill place i have started to go near matlock. Its a good size with plenty of drops and mud. Lookin for a fellow landy driver to come along cuz most people down there are in suzukis!! The good thing is its free and legal! If ya fancy it PM me mate Cheers
