Hello again, it's been a while, did you miss me? I've been enjoying burbling around in a '97 Legacy GTB for the last six months, really good fun in the snow but rubbish on green lanes! :D So, does anyone want, or know someone who wants, a stoopidly fast big estate car? Apparently 280BHP...

I've got some windsurf sails and booms that need moving from Tewkesbury to south Dorset, anyone able to help me out in return for some beer tokens? They're quite big and bulky, I guessing that the bag they're in will be about 6-7' long - I'm awaiting an email back from the vendor.

I lowered my Disco today. Loaded all my tools in the back and eight 5" douglas fir posts on the roof. Must have dropped by 3"! And the tow-plough gouged the feck out of every speed bump in town - well, the only one in town.

Shame. I'm driving from Dorset to Scotland tomorrow and could've strapped it to my roof. Ho well...

When I first met Robin T he suggested that I do the Ridgeway solo. Very nearly got stuck but made it out okay. And weren't you out soloing when I met you the other evening for some night white-laning? :D Says it all really! ;)

WTF!?!? I'd say you can fit anything into anything - i.e. Chevy big block into minis etc. It just depends on the amount of work that'll be required. I s'pose the main questions are - will the bulkhead need remodelling due to the size of the bimmer lump, how will you mate it to the gearbox and...

Kinnel. I remember the first few lanes being really straight-forward compact track. Reet then, recovery points gwan on before I next go out, that's fer sure. I'm off to eBay to find some jate rings, unless anyone's got some they wanta donate...

That's DV's hole you got stuck in there. He managed to get well n truly stuck in there the day I went out with the S*L*U*T*S and did the chippy run. 'ee couldn't winch himsel' oot - it took my Disco and whoever was in front of me (Buckshot?) to pull him out. And I'd be up for a few Dorset...

Your Disco was a powerboat last year!? Good luck fella! Don't know about boot floors, mine was done when I bought it. Just picked up a cheapo pair of tree sliding sills off of ebay - only 80 for pretty meaty galvanised unpainted jobbies. :welcome2:
