Hi Chaps, I have a problem with my 300 Tdi, when the fuel filler is opened there is a sucking sound. I have put this down to the tank somehow pulling a partial vacuum. I gather there's a breather pipe on the tank which I guess could be partly blocked, but despite looking in both the workshop...

Hi Sean Thanks for your response. I changed the fuel filter about 8,000 miles ago, but I've changed it today and it seems to have solved the problem, There seemed to be an excessive amount of water in the filter when I drained it prior to fitting the new one. Regards BV
