    Its a Td5 so Diesel. Is it a bugger to run furl to it from the tank or does it all come as a kit?

    Fit a steering lock or clutch pedal lock. Either that or if your handy with electrics a hidden kill switch. I fitted one from the ignition on mine, its just a little toggle switch underneath the dash. That would at least delay the buggers.

    :confused:Hello all, I fancy fitting one of these to my 110, its an ex electricity company landy and has loads of side lockers so was going to fit it in one of these. Thing is though i have noo experience with these at all. Do they have a seperate fuel supply or do they run off the vehicles tank?

    Thanks for all the advice guys. It has, like solid metal bdges on the sides and bck which say Land Rover Special vehicles and the chassis plates have LR Special vehicles also, so I presume it was built to the Scottish Electric company spec but I will look into this, just for fun!!

    I take it you dont need to be a farmer to get insured with them? Mods have been a bugger due to all the extra lights, beacons, Hydraulic Winch, Ladder racks etc.

    Thats what I thought but it was made by Special Vehicles division so i wonder if thats why it comes up as a double cab? Could the chassis be a bit different or something? Just want to make sure its correct for the insurance.

    Buy a Haynes manual, that will tell you the basics. Have a read through and depending on your experience and mechanic skills, that should give you a good idea whether or not to attempt any maintenance. Personally I would get the Timing belt changed straight away though, regardless.
