hi the torque convertor felt ok when sitting in bell housing and felt located fine,it also bolted up to flexiplate no probs also so dont no what the prob is any ideas

how do youcheck the trans box motor,would this break in the event of sudden engine lock up or would the outputshaft or torque converter not fail first?

no experience in repairing them but fitted plenty why?

hi just fitted a replacement engine into a p38 4.0 that had to be replaced due to a thrown con rod and smashed cam n piston,dont know how or what exactly happened/history of how damage occured ie speed at time ect? as purchased car from a guy who bought the car like it salvage and he never new...

hi paul you can unbolt the tourque convertor and leave it in situ in the box,if the same as my rangie there is a half moon plate at rear of sump remove that and undo the four inner silver head bolts not the ones around the outside of the flywheel,turn the flywheel round with a screwdiver pushing...
