strange.. when my light is off . its off.. when the light is on i see the revs go down slightly as the compressor kicks in... allways ran with the light off.

hi, managed to sort out everything now.. also with help from Storey W. the author of the software i used.. I managed to order the Thermo part from USA for £2.75 + £4 postage last week but at the same time i bought a compressor that needed a piston seal for £30 and stripped it down and used...

mine changes just under 2000rpm sometimes sooner.. might be the kickdown holding back, or the sport button pressed to lengthen the gear change! is there an S in the dash display ? check auto fluid. should be nice red colour and no burnt spells, rub a bit on your fingers and have a sniff :)

found out the problem :) thermo cut out in the pump was damaged so the power was still going to the pump causing it to get hot. when using the software this makes it work. but only for testing. as this bypasses the ecu sensors.

no the pump just gets hot but does not work, but when i tested the pump with the software the pump worked and pumped up the rear end ok. !

hi to all, new to the forum so thought id treat you with my 1st problem :) I have just reset the eas 35mph thing we all know and love with the lead and free software using my old 5 yr old latitiude laptop.. the eas reset and i now dont get the annoying beeps and slow 35 mph on the dash...
