1st gear change up??

When i pull away the Range Rover wont change from first too second untill 3000rpm! All the other gears change smoothly and when they should.
Just the First gear...Any Ideas??

mine changes just under 2000rpm sometimes sooner.. might be the kickdown holding back, or the sport button pressed to lengthen the gear change! is there an S in the dash display ? check auto fluid. should be nice red colour and no burnt spells, rub a bit on your fingers and have a sniff
