Before a recon engine/replacement; Oil pressure..?? May sound patronising, but is the oil level ok..?? Oil pump ok, blockage somewhere..?? or an oil leak..?? Anyone else some suggestions..?? :confused:

Not sure about this may help, but on most petrol cars (I've been diesel for a few years now...) there is a pipe (aluminium) from the exaust manifold to the air intake..? used to kill my Polo when it was removed....

Had a leaky sunroof on mine (manual type) so this may be useful to check first, found the washers had perished were the brackets attach to the glass, on the top side, pulled what was left of the washers out, ran a bead of mastic (gutter sealant) around removed excess and sorted it...:D hth
