    Gaylanders are great in the snow

    We're in Aberdeenshire (ie LOTS of snow!) and my freelanders been fab. Only thing that stopped it was my mums drive - vvvvvv steep and had approx 24, yes 24 inches of snow on it. Took two runs but made it!!

    Yo! Did have a look on here at the suggestions to make it a bit easier, thanks. Was feeling a bit misled after checking out Haynes.....which said something along the lines of "unclip the undertray"!! A few spanners and an hour later it appears they were lying to me ha ha!!!!!

    'Scuse me venting here, but who frickin designed the freelander???? Just did an oil change this weekend, the first since buying the motor. Whats with the amount of dismantling to access the drain plug?!?!?!?!?:crazy::wtf: Not to mention the £92 I was stung for two things of oil and a filter...

    td4 Clutch again

    Hiya! My TD4 had new master cylinder couple of months ago and yeah, the pedal is light and bites closer to floor i suppose. Hope that helps!!!

    Cheers for the welcome! Yeah have thick skin and a sense of humour i think.......:biggrin1: And yeah! Was out in the snow, the doors didn't fall off, my boot didn't fill with water and I didnt have to hand over me purse to the nearest stealer. Amazing. x

    Oh! Meant to say master cylinder is a sealed for life unit therefore cannot bleed it. New units come with the fluid already in them so you just fit and drive! In a manner of speaking. ex
