Thanks for your reply @Nodge68 I forgot to add I messed about with the TR dial while off-road in a bog but still no difference to the drive. I will try to turn the prop thismorning and see how that goes. is it a case of full new ptu. I'm guessing the when the ptu fails it's no longer connecting...

Hi all I recently purchased a Freelander 2 on an 09 which needed and engine as last one timing belt had snapped so I replaced the engine. And now more problems the car has no drive to the prop I have jacked the front up and put it into gear in mud mode no prop movement and ptu sounds clinky also...
