I have ordered a swivel rebuild kit and new hub just incase the hub is warn then I’ll also rebuild the swivel to make sure the bearings haven’t collapsed

Ok. If the swivel moves what do I have to do to fix that

Hi all have replaced the wheel bearing and done the 2 nut method but I still have up and down moment when you grab the top and bottom of the wheel compared to the other side where there is no movement at all

Hi all, Just bought a Britpart chubby box to replace my middle seat. How have people mounted them as they don’t come with any fixings or any suggestions. So some light on how people have mounted them would be great. Thanks, Sam

Ok I would assume because one of the spacers is missing the bearings will have space on the shaft to move, in my bearing kit I have got another nut like one for a 200tdi. Can I still use the Td5 nut, so do the 200tdi nut then washer then Td5 nut or shall I get another 200tdi nut

Hi all, I have just replaced one of my front wheel bearing, put it all back together and there still seems to be some play when you grab the bottom of the wheel and push it back and forth. Anyone got any ideas what that could be? Just gone to Check the old bearings one of them had a spacer...

Ok great thank you @dag019!! I have bought new pads today and will get them on the defender this afternoon

When I take the discs and pads off i can check the pistons as you have to push the pistons in the replace the pads

I shall just replace all brake pads and disks they should be the problem as it means not enough braking power i think

I didn’t get given a print out so I’ll have to investigate myself

Hi All, My defender 90 went in for MOT today and failed. the failure was Service brake efficiency below requirements. does anyone know what this means and how I can resolve this. thanks, Sam

Hi guys, I used a filter strap round the shock and it worked!! Changed my lower bushes and now praying the old girl makes it through the MOT tomorrow
