Updated sat nav discs for L322 Rangie.

Nowthen all. My father is looking at updating the mapping for the sat nav in his 03 plate L322 Rangie and has seen a site offering what he needs for £35. The site is www.sat-navi.com Anyone used this company before or heard of someone who has so I can advise him accordingly? Dont they...

    BCM's

Hi, had the same problem with miy 99 p38. I cured it by disconnecting the receiver located in the rear offside of the boot. Also had my keys tested and found one key to be faulty. Having my neighbour with his 98 p38 move away so his key fob did'nt wake my Rangie up flattening the battery helped...

Dash etc still die when brake pressed!

Right, well I havn't soreted it yet, even with the advice from Fanatic, but I think were closer. I think the problem is within the bloody BeCM again as more often than not the problem sorts itself when the interior of the Rangie has warmed up. Saying that it is somtimes ok, but only somtimes...

Dash etc still die when brake pressed!

Hello all. Hoping I can get this sorted as it's becoming a right pain in the arse now. Dried out the damp drivers side carpet and possibly damp wiring aswell as hopefully fixing the cause with the hairdryer. Still having the dash, climate control, reverse lights die when I press the brake...

    Wet drivers Carpet

I have done a fair bit of work on a problem like this with my P38. If the coolant pipe o rings have gone I am aware that the carpet and lining will be damp / wet down the side of the transmision tunnel. The problem I started with was rain water etc leaking in through the pollen filter covers and...

Hello all. My fathers rear n/s light cluster keeps misting up. Not a major problem but it makes a tidy machine look untidy. Anyone had or heard of the same problem and have any cures that don't involve buying another cluster? Cheers. Hope you all have a good stert to the new year.

Dash / climate control diewhen brake pressed!

Nope. Just started the other day. Over the last couple of days it will now and again not fault, but their doesn't seem to be any pattern. If you take out the switch it wont fault. I would of thought it their was a short that it would blow a fuse etc, but stand corrected?

    Spark plugs and lead quiry?

Ideal. I have heard others mention those leads so I may try with them first dependant on what spare time I have. Thanks again

Dash / climate control diewhen brake pressed!

After a breif bit of trial and error I renewed the brake light switch plus brake lamp bulbs to cure the problem, but with no avail. If you press the brake pedal with the slightest of pressure the whole of the instrument cluster goes off along with the Climate control. As soon as you lift the...

    Spark plugs and lead quiry?

Hello everyone. Recently changed the plugs on my 4.6 p38 as I was getting a slight misfire from cold which cleared fairly quickly but happened mainly when it had been stood for a couple of days. It looked as though the plugs had been in their for some time but I am still getting a bit of a...
