Hi Lads I would lengthen the cable and put in an isolator in. I wouldn't take it from the starter post and i would consider it a bodge. Taking it from the starter is considered "ten gallon hat stuff" i'm a electrican so i would advise new cable and an isolator. Remember never have a constant...

hi phil. we had a problem on a 99. 110sw the owner had changed the bulbs in the headlights from 60/55's to 100/90's and it melted the switch. its an easy change any defender switch will do same colour code but different plug on the end just swap the plugs.

I'M over in the south west of ireland and the way pounds to euro is at the mo its about the same. i,ve an 04 110td5 sw slighty bar-b-qued. I'm looking for the hole lot from the bulkhead back.

there is a realy behind the speedo in the dash board. If that doesn't work it could be ur switch. what year is ur defender

As regards buying a 90 they cost to much money here in ireland. Plus it will be 40 euros to tax the series 3 as it is over 30 years old. it will be a series 3 with a twist.:bolt:
