P38 diesel hse started fine until cold weather 3 weeks ago. Went to start and flattened battery. Put jump leads on tuned over nearly started but then got a high pitched whirring sound from engine. Tried again next day no joy, suspected in tank pump...replaced unit...fuel to injection pu.p but...
