I'll try that, didn't think about putting it to earth. I have tried a different ECU with the same results so unless I'm really unlucky the problem is with the vehicle.... I've already tried disconnecting the clutch switch, bridged the contacts, unbridged the contacts, put the contacts to earth...

I have seen some threads on the interweb discussing problems with the D2 cruise control and the clutch switch reading "ON" with a Nanocom. I have this problem and cannot find a solution. I have cut the wire to "35" on the black connector on the ECU with no effect. Can't get the cruise control...
