    Can anyone confirm that the different shafts are interchangeable and that simply removing the abs ring is appropriate?? or will doing this inevitably bring up abs fault codes?? TIA

    No I didn’t remove the sensor and yes I did stretch it whilst fitting the new shaft… think I’ll just buy a new abs sensor …you live and learn thank you

    I’ve changed the near side drive shaft on my 2003 TD4 and I’ve now got three warning lights on….unbeknown to me there’s different types and mine should have been the type of shaft without the abs ring ….I just took the ring off and fitted it as per the motor factors advice ….apparently on my car...

    Horns not working

    In frustration I left the larger 6 pin block unplugged from both sides of the coupler with just the two pin blocks plugged in (which i assume are the air bag wires) and still air bag light....so yes i better try a new coupler thanks

    Thanks for that....I'm no mechanic but I removed the clock wire and swapped the wires as you suggest and the horns now work. However the air bag light is on now:(( Can you tell me if the yellow two pin block connectors are the only wires for the air bag??

    Hi.. Wonder if anyone can help me... My horns won't work off the steering wheel switches....but they sound with the alarm no probs....fuses are ok....it had a clutch in it last year and I wonder if the mechanic disturbed something?? Any help appreciated
