    Why won't it sell?

Yes this is a good point. It's a it of a balancing act between needing as much as i can for a house deposit yet also shifting it before i need to put that deposit down

    Why won't it sell?

Thanks everyone for replies. Yes that's the correct ad. The wheel nuts were on a set of steels I put on the day before it's MOT - they were just very slightly chamfered nuts, not the stupid LR stock ones which are on now, and yes I did put all the back ones on back to front ✔️ As regards the...

    Why won't it sell?

Not sure if this is the right place to post - mods feel free to move as required. So sadly I am having to sell my TD5 90 (needing a deposit for a house) and I was hoping that if priced right this would be the proverbial piece of p*ss. So, i have it listed in a few places (autotrader, LR...

    TD5. Water in fuel tank?

Thanks Tim. On starting the car this morning the warning light was gone so must have been very negligible amounts. Will bear your suggestion in mind though.

    TD5. Water in fuel tank?

Hi Everyone. TD5 90 '52 plate. I gave It a quick wash today and was maybe a bit cavalier with the jet wash around the fuel cap recess. When I moved it back to it's position In the drive from the back, the 'water in the fuel tank' warning light came on. However as I drove it about 100 yards, the...

Ehem. I can't start my Landy...

Hi.yes that did cross my mind.i know some cars are notoriously difficult/impossible though. We once spent an entire Saturday lurching up and down our drive in a f**d transit only to find it's completely impossible. Gave us some exercise pushing it though

Ehem. I can't start my Landy...

Thanks Miktdish. I'm not by the car now (I had to leave it at work and get a lift home) but I will take a look at that tomorrow. The fact that it was absolutely fine until this afternoon makes me think it must be something like that.

Ehem. I can't start my Landy...

Hi nielly. No it's not - a faint hiss/whirr from the centre somewhere but that's it. Doesn't sound like any attempt from the starter. Couldn't bump start it either.

    Spare wheel mounting

Mines a general grabber on 16in boost so maybe on the lighter side? Interesting idea to mount on centre bulkhead. Might help stop the bumping noise...

    Spare wheel mounting

Hi Giys. First Post omn here so hello... Defender 90, 52 plate TD5 What is people's thoughts about the rear door mounted spare wheel. I've heard tell that greenlaning plus weight of wheel can warp the door. Also the noise is pretty, well, noisy. Even for a defender. DUKADUNKADUNKADUNKADUNK...
