    I suppose it could be the socket. I doubt if it’s the wiring as this vehicle is absolutely pristine and nothing looks tampered with. One thing though, the AUX connector hole seems a little too loose for any 3.5mm cable jack. It slides in & out far too easily! Maybe that could be the issue. If so...

    Thanks Nodge! Yep, all the other parts of the sound system work perfectly—it’s just the AUX connection. Like you, I might just have to resort to recorded CDs with all my fav tracks on.
