Battery is only 4 weeks old was getting battery drain so battery should be fine

Hi just cured overheating issues tested it out towing caravan , but now I've got a gearbox fault Abs light flashes on car jolts and says gearbox fault, completely cut out once but managed to get it just any ideas thx

More update on over heating issue , been towing for a good 40 mins no overheating issues which is excellent news , but I've got a bloody gearbox fault now . ABS light comes on briefly , gearbox kicks down and gearbox fault comes up it cut out once but managed to get it home but getting concerned...

Just gotta get everything bought now

Yes looks like condenser and fans and 1 pipe missing, the drier is still there though but I think I will have to change that as well

Quick update it was the black hose as stated in picture been replaced and tested by my local 4x4 guy also found out why air con not working

Marjon and stemac33 just tried the newspaper trick the fan didn't stop but I've just noticed a water leak on back of engine

I've got a 1997 p38 dse that started overheating on Sunday when towing caravan there was steam coming from back of engine and water dripping from there , it doesn't overheat when driving under normal circumstances also air conditioning not working properly
