What did you do with your Range Rover today

Today (well yesterday now actually) I went in search of my missing N/S/R jacking pad, never found it, but at least have a better understanding of where it may have evaporated too Oh, you have to love the Joy's of L322 ownership. Weirdly, having removed the plastic skirt from the offside, that is...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Only using it about once a month, which is what lead to the downfall of the Lion as I didn't even bother to keep it trickled... My bad! But I will sure update when and if I have to swap again. I must just say that the service from Tayna was fabulous, online order 6.30 pm Sunday, arrived 12.30 pm...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Replaced battery today in my Td6. The existing one (Lion) was apparently only 8 months old, but looking at its spec it just wasn't up to the task. I managed to swap them without putting the bonnet to access height which I was pleased as I am in the open elements and working on my own

    L322 Heater issue 2003 Td6

Morning all I wonder if someone may be able to advise on a particular issue? The heater is working fine (chosen word carefully). It gets reasonably hot after about 10 minutes or so. The blower fan works great. The air ducts to the windscreen level and the centre eye level work great. However...

    Multiple issues, mechanic stumped

Wow, fabulous thread, this is what makes this site so invaluable. Good luck OP in your repair quest, hope you get it sorted. I have 2003 Td6, with many minor issues (minor for now at least lol) but she is a wonderful motor vehicle, and I feel like a king when out and about. Far far away, the...

L322 Steering angle sensor replacement - guide with pictures

Nice improvisation Mid Life, I have just finished the repair of my SAS (2004 Td6) and had not seen your update, so tackled it with the side panel and duct pipe still in place, but I can certainly see how you have simplified the process. Access sure is tight! I have to admit that I really had no...

L322 in two years of ownership...bought with 121k now 123k

Holey Moley that is one heck of a work list, and that was just the mechanicals. No bodywork issues to deal with? Congratulations on what you have done to date, I am on a similar journey, but I certainly have corrosion issues to deal with and it is sure going to take me more than two years...

L322 Sight unseen L322 with inactive suspension..

Hi and welcome to the club. I will be following your post and progress with interest, I also bought a fattie, albeit a Td6, unseen a few months ago. I have learned so much, mainly with the help of the good folk on this site, and realize that I still know nothing, so much still to unearth but...

    L322 Transport mode

Update: My original BCM has been repaired by a wizard who goes by the name of Mervyn Ashton. He is a software engineer who turned his hand to vehicle diagnosis and repair 12 years ago. He runs his own company called Autoelectron and is based in Harrogate. It turns out that although my iid tool...

    L322 Transport mode

Hi All It's been a while, but as life has a rhythm all of its own, my work on my lil beast has to wait its turn My local indie LR shop has had a good look at her now, and diagnosed a faulty Body module control unit, and the transportation mode persists. Because I have time, I am trying various...

    L322 Cooling fan swap

Thanks, I read your earlier posts regarding the fan which helped enormously. I am in awe of the fan size, and therefore a bit reluctant to remove it from its original housing, just imagining the chaos it would cause if it broke loose gives me shivers lol, think I will cut away the cowling and...

    Buying a Range Rover L322

Love that this has resurrected an 11 year old post. Love also the passion and enthusiasm that people have with their vehicles, Range Rovers in our case. I've just bought an 18 year old Td6 that will stay with me for as long as I am able to stand, or sit for that matter. She is a bit scruffy and...

    L322 Cooling fan swap

Possibly, but fixings may bust if I try to swap them over was my fears, but do you think the fan itself is compatible with the Td6? I can't think of any reason why it would not be, but these sure are complex beasts. Cheers

    L322 Cooling fan swap

Td6 vogue 2003 Hi all, lots of things going on with my new baby when I get the chance. Electric fan not working, so sourced a replacement, with 6 months warranty for what it's worth. Initially looked OK until I came to fit, the lower plastic cowl/shroud on the replacement is bigger than the...

    Gearbox filling plug rounded

That makes sense, wondered why no one else had had this issue. Mine is definitely on my Td6 so I'm guessing that it has been swapped previously. I hope to still be around when it's due to be serviced again, so at least I know what is in store for me next time
