    Changed the pump and filter under the rear wheel arch, it does seem a tad better, however it still threw a couple of lights (engine with the ! Symbol) could the in tank primary be causing the problem

    2004 freelander td4, no codes being given It broke down due to a delaminated turbo outlet pipe last month, fixed the pipe but since then have been having the engine light come on( at least 8 times within a 32 mile drive), kinda goes into a limp mode the clears itself when ignition is turned off...

    Still having a slight issue intermittent limp, seems to only happen under low load at about 2000rpm will reset by turning ignition off then back on, for a while Will cruise without issue at 70 on dual carriageway

    So, the pipe was the issue, all up and running again , for anyone else having similar issues check the rubber pipe that exits the turbocharger, I now have some new sensors and other pipes as a bonus also

    Hopefully this is the issue, pipe from the turbo to the intercooler pipe seems to have delaminated in the inside new one on order, I’ll update if it’s a fix

    Hi, yeah it will, sometimes it will rev when all pipes are connected too, I suspect the turbocharger has seen better days, it’s as if it’s not generating enough pressure what do you reckon?

    It will only idle, will not rev enough to allow it to be driven After changing the turbo solenoid it did start and rev up, the turbo was spooling, switched off and tried it 5 minutes later and back to square one no engine lights or codes being given either

    Freelander lost power in drive to work, got towed home it’s a 2004 td4 with the m47 engine no engine light or codes showing Noticed intercooler hoses sucking flat Engine will idle but not rev replaced the hoses and the turbo solenoid but still have the issue any ideas gratefully appreciated
