No mate, I shall do that when I take bumper off again when I get a day that’s not raining, I didn’t think of that as everything seemed ok before I put sensor back into holder and it pointed to the sky, I do feel a bit of a numpty as I’m a retired sparky and that is a standard fault finding strategy

Hi Nodge, did a live test thingy and the new sensor distance was bouncing all over the place where all other sensors were steady or very little change, think I’ve bought a faulty one or not compatible, I’ve ordered an OEM one from JGS4 see if that sort’s it out, don’t know if I’ll get a refund...

Bit confused about “genuine ford” sensors, I thought I’d bought a genuine sensor from euro car parts for freelander 2, it cost £45.99, so I don’t think it was a cheap copy, maybe got a faulty one, I’ll do a check on my reader and see if it’s that one that’s faulty, thanks for your help mate
