Managed to get it out the other day, used a couple pry bars and hammers. The slot for the fixture had corrosion over it and had basically become too tight for the bag to slide out like it should! Just need a new hose now

I believe they're both twisting together, can't really see as the bag has flopped over the plastic. Might have to just see if I can split it

Found out what the issue was, had to take it to some smart people. I basically drilled through two wires in the umbilical when I was trying to find a place to pull the wires through

Yeah I used a relay and in line fuse per pair of lights. Wired straight to the battery

Fitted some new spots today, and have somehow managed to break the fuel guage- it lights up and shows empty (when full) so I don't think it's the dash cluster. Any ideas? Cheers.

Cheers for all the help guys, just fixed it! Popped it out and fitted a new Halfords one (had to muck about with one of the connectors as the supplied one was too fat) I found out the bulb that lights the socket up green had died- probably why the green surround had popped. So I checked the...

Seems to grip it fine but the actual socket comes out at a slight pull so I think that might be the issue. Any idea how easy it is to fit a new one?

No lights on the dash for the engine. Unless you mean the wires are for actual lights under the bonnet?
