Just for reference it didn't even turn over a full turn before locking up

Another update, new battery fitted, went to turn over and the engine locked solid! Removed glow plugs and turned over, diesel now everywhere, but engine turned over. So next step is to get some money together and send the injectors for testing!

Been told my battery has arrived, hoping to fit it this week if the rain will hold off, then i can do a compression test and make sure i have compression. i dont feel lack of compression is my issue but will be another thing to check off the list right! testing through the glow plugs, i know...

All parts refitted, still no joy, ordering a new battery this week hopefully that will help as 3 days of charging mine and the tester still said bad battery

Updated info, been a while i know, work done since this last post! injector seals and washers (injectors were out of adjustment), new fuel pump, new starter motor fitted, removed inlet manifold to gain access to the fuel block, have a replacement fuel block and new gasket to fit this weekend as...

Ordered new seals and washers today, should be with me tomorrow or saturday so hoping I can get it running this weekend

You know what I just checked the price of the seals and washers, for the price I'm just going to do them to rule it out

Engine stopped halfway home 2 weeks before Christmas was all I needed was driving along a 50 road and just cut out, managed to roll it into a layby

So as I have replaced the filter housing already, is there a way of checking the injector washers and seals or is it a case of just replace them?

I have had poor starting first thing for a little while!? Is that leading to somewhere?
