Thanks for the replies was hoping there would be a cut off switch which I could replace but at least I know the score now . it happens mostly when shutting the roof whilst driving and just reaching for the switch , due to other engine and road noise I tend to just hold the button until I know...

The sunroof on my FL 1 works fine but on closing the mechanism “clatters’ if the button is held on close for a split second after it has fully closed , it doesn’t happen on opening , has anyone else got experience of this and may know the cause ?
