It works obviously because I have 4WD and no noise/vibration issues. Whether it works 100% I do not know but I am not in the habit of testing things that appear to be working properly. Just like I wouldn't remove my water pump or alternator and test it.

It had a mix of different tyres when I bought it three years ago. It now has two sets of two different tyres fitted earlier this year.

My Freelander 1 td4 built in 2003 has done over 140,000 miles and still original VCU. Should I be worried that it's done twice the mileage it's supposed to do?

Thanks for the reply. I read elsewhere that you have to disconnect battery completely and wait 30 mins before removing connection to seat belt pre tensioner. Did you do that? I don't want it exploding on me!

Yes, I recently replaced my brake pipes and they were crusty exactly where you say. The clip mounting the two rear pipes to the chassis rail is a muck and moisture trap.

Rear Direction indicator incorrect colour both (4.4.3 (a)) The lens is white and the bulb is Amber. Passed previous MOT no problem but failed this time around. Going for re test in a couple of days at a different MOT station. What can I do? Indicators look Amber when they're flashing.
