No pal i have got one to hand though i ordered one but the fuel filter arrived first so i changed that , want to run the car for a while to eliminate the problem and see if it was fixed which it is so i will be changing the crank sensor anyway as i have at and its cheap also

Ye all sorted it had a after market fuel filter fitted , i changed it for genuine landrover and has been running fine ever since :D

Ye let me no how you get on i got a genuine landrover one from a landrover parts supplier 5 minuted from me it was only £30 and has done the trick

ye i will car will be getting a good drive to woth new filter so hopefully issue resolved

i think the previous owner mist have put the wring fuel in hence why the flap was closed and me need a new fuel filter

Ano this week iv fixed a loss of power due to a fuel filter which was £30 when the garage was trying to charge me £1500 for a new turbo and now the fuel tank problem. This forum has been a life saver and a money saver :D Thanks guys

After a quick look on youtube i have used the key thing and popped it open the flap has popped up now :D:D thank you really appreciated mate :D

I have just got the missfuel key amd put it in but the flap is still there its like the 2 black clips eatherside are sticking

New I have changed the fuel filter on thursday and the car hasnt lost power as of yet done around 20miles with new genuine filter it had a non genuine filter in so hopefully all is well, the crank sensor arrived yesterday so will have that changed aswell for what it cost it makes sense Thanks...

I just took the cap off and there was a sucking noise just the once when the car was off after driving for 30 mins is this what u mean

i have ordered the sensor online so will be changing it when it arrives cheer pal

Not in the 12 months iv had it maybe previously fuel filters been changed today for genuine one see if that helps Thank
